Faridabad Model School organised a special visit to Shree Jagannath Temple, Sector-15, Faridabad, on the auspicious occasion of Janmashtami for the students of the Kiddies Wing.

The visit provided the children with an opportunity to learn about the significance of Lord Krishna’s birth and experience the spirit of devotion, joy and togetherness associated with Janmashtami. Upon reaching the venue, the students were escorted to the main prayer area, where they had the opportunity to witness the beautifully adorned idols and offer their prayers respectfully. The serene surroundings and devotional ambience filled the young learners with a sense of peace and wonder.

The little ones enjoyed the serene and colourful atmosphere of the temple and participated respectfully in the celebrations. The visit was a joyful and enriching experience that helped the children connect with Indian culture, traditions and spiritual values in a meaningful way. The celebration concluded with happy smiles, joyful hearts and cherished memories for our young learners, making the educational visit truly memorable and delightful.

The visit was followed by a vibrant Janmashtami celebration at school. Dressed as different characters from the life of Lord Krishna, the little ones looked absolutely adorable and fabulous.
