Faridabad Model School, Sector 31, Faridabad, organised an industrial visit to OxyGlow Cosmetics, Faridabad, on August 20, 2026, for the students of Class IX. The visit was designed to provide students with meaningful exposure to industrial processes and help them understand the practical applications of concepts learned in the classroom.
Known for its range of natural beauty products, OxyGlow Cosmetics manufactures products using herbal and naturally derived ingredients, including herbs, flowers, fruit extracts, essential oils and other natural substances.

A seminar on Menstrual Hygiene and Health Awareness was organised at Faridabad Model School with the aim of educating students about menstrual health and promoting healthy hygiene practices.
The seminar was conducted by a qualified health professional Ms Sanchita Saha, who explained the importance of maintaining personal hygiene during menstruation. Students were informed about the biological process of menstruation proper use and disposal of sanitary products, maintaining cleanliness, following a healthy diet and seeking medical advice when necessary.
The speaker also addressed common myths and misconceptions related to menstruation and encouraged students to discuss menstrual health without hesitation or embarrassment. An interactive question-and-answer session was held, during which students actively participated and cleared their doubts.

The students of Class III from Faridabad Model School visited the Women Police Station, Sector-16, Faridabad, on 11 August 2026. They were warmly welcomed by the police officials and taken around various sections of the station, including the control room, record room, lock-up, and complaint desk.
SHO Inspector Ms. Usha Rani interacted with the students and answered their questions about the functioning of the police station. The students learned about different police ranks, their roles and the various kinds of help and support provided by the police to citizens.

With hearts full of hope and smiles all around, FMSians stepped into the new Academic Session 2026–27 with a sacred Hawan Ceremony on April 1, 2026. The divine chants and positive vibrations created an atmosphere of peace, purity, and new beginnings, as the entire FMS family sought the blessings of the Almighty for a successful and fulfilling year ahead.
The occasion was made truly special by the gracious presence of Shri A.K. Malik- Managing Director, FMS Managing Committee; former Advisor to the President of Zambia; and former Commissioner, Cabinet Secretariat, Government of India. The event was also honoured by Rtn. H.S. Malik, Former Chairman, CWC, Government of Haryana; Mrs. Raj Malik- Founder Principal; Mrs. Shashi Bala- Academic Director and Mr. Umang Malik- FMS Director Principal.
The highlight of the day was the cheerful welcome extended to our tiny tots of the Pre-Primary Wing. Their first day turned into a magical experience as they were greeted by vibrant live characters, filling the campus with laughter and excitement. The little learners joyfully participated in fun-filled games, creative activities, music, and dance, making new friends and beautiful memories. The celebration started with lamp lighting ceremony. Sh. Rajesh Garg-Retd. (Addl. District and Sessions Judge) honourable guest for the occasion unfurled the school flag. Students showcased their skills through March Past and various dance drills where FMSians showed discipline, coordination and physical strength. The FMS founder’s scholarship awardees for the session (2025-26) along with other outstanding FMSians who won at district, state and national levels were awarded in the glittering Prize Distribution Ceremony. Sh. Rajesh Garg and Sh. Dinesh Raghuvanshi congratulated the awardees and their parents and highlighted the importance of sports and extra-curricular activities for the holistic development of the students. He also congratulated the prize winners and participants for their excellent performances and motivated them to become inspiring leaders in their respective fields. FMS Chairman Rtn. H.S. FMSian Adarsh Singh wins Silver in 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Team Event in Asian Shooting Championship 2026.
FMS Star Shooter and Former Junior World Champion Adarsh Singh made the country and school proud by winning Silver Medal in 25 meter rapid fire pistol at the ongoing Asian Rifle/Pistol Championship 2026 at the Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Ranges, New Delhi. Adarsh is an Indian sports shooter who competes in the 25 meter rapid fire pistol and 10 meter air pistol.
Earlier in 19th Asian Games held at Hangzhou, China he won Bronze Medal in 25 meter rapid fire pistol, in South Asian Games 2019 he won Gold and Bronze at Asian Shooting Championship in the same year. Further he won a silver at the ISSF World Cup 2021(New Delhi) in the 25m Rapid Fire Men Team Event.

Out of 1103 innovative ideas submitted from across the region only 60 outstanding ideas were selected to qualify for the next stage, and students from Faridabad Model School proudly secured their place among these distinguished innovators.
The INSPIRE (Innovation in Science Pursuit for Inspired Research) scheme is a flagship initiative of the Department of Science & Technology (DST), Government of India. The INSPIRE–MANAK (Million Minds Augmenting National Aspirations and Knowledge) programme aims to ignite scientific temperament among students of Classes VI to XII by encouraging them to develop original ideas and innovations rooted in science and societal applications.
For each selected idea, the Department of Science & Technology will sanction a scholarship of Rs. 10,000/-. Among the proud achievers, Vivaan Mehta of Class X conceptualized and designed an innovative Light Therapy Device that utilizes near-infrared (NIR) light technology, intended to provide potential wellness benefits, highlighting the application of science in enhancing human well-being. Another noteworthy innovation was presented by Shivam Kumar of Class XII, whose idea is based on the principles of rain detection integrated with laser light technology. His system is designed to detect rainfall at the very first drop, to minimize damage to crops, other valuable resources, thereby supporting agricultural sustainability.

Faridabad Model School celebrated Mother’s Day with great enthusiasm on May 09, 2026, honoring the essence of motherhood and the cherished bond between a mother and child. A range of indoor activities was thoughtfully planned for the occasion. FMSians, along with their mothers, created beautiful craft items and expressed their gratitude through melodious and vibrant performances, including songs, role plays, rhymes, and dances. Their heartfelt presentations brought smiles and joyful tears to the mothers.
To further celebrate the teamwork between mothers and children, a series of exciting and engaging games were organized. It was a delight to watch children cheering enthusiastically for their mothers as they participated and won prizes.
Adding a meaningful touch to the celebration, students presented planters to their mothers as part of the initiative “Ek Paudha Maa Ke Naam.” The aim was to encourage the protection of trees and Mother Earth while acknowledging the tireless efforts of mothers.

Faridabad Model School, Sector-31, organized an informative workshop on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act with the objective of creating awareness about child safety, protection, and legal rights. Addressing the gathering, Ms. Kavita and Mr. Ikender emphasized that in today's rapidly evolving digital world, where children are increasingly exposed to social media and mobile technology, it is essential for them—especially those below the age of 18—to be aware of their rights and personal safety. They highlighted the importance of understanding the difference between good touch and bad touch, understanding the concept of personal space, identifying unsafe situations, and seeking timely help from trusted adults whenever they feel uncomfortable or threatened. The session further highlighted the need for responsible use of social media, cyber safety, and protection from online exploitation, making the discussion highly relevant in today's digital age.
The workshop aimed to sensitize students about child protection, prevent offences against children, and empower them with the knowledge and confidence to safeguard themselves. Workshop on Self-Defence Conducted at FMS
Faridabad Model School, Sector-31, organized a Self-Defence Workshop on its campus with the aim of creating awareness among students about personal safety and security. The session was led by Sub- Inspector Ms. Kavita, along with the representatives Ms. Reena, Ms. Jyoti, Ms. Devki, Ms. Pooja, Ms. Yashika & Mr. Ikender from Mahila Thana, Faridabad.
The resource persons interacted with the students and provided valuable insights into important issues such as cybercrime, women’s safety, self-defence, and emergency helpline numbers including 112, 1091, 1098, and 1930. They educated students about essential safety measures, preventive strategies, and the appropriate actions to take in different situations. The officials also highlighted the consequences of misusing social media platforms, maintaining unhealthy peer relationships, and involvement in activities that may lead to legal complications under the juvenile justice system.
The primary objective of the workshop was to empower students to recognize potential threats, assess their surroundings, and adopt strategies to avoid or de-escalate dangerous situations. The session also emphasized the importance of being responsible citizens and contributing towards a safer society.
The programme concluded with an address by Mrs. Shashi Bala, Academic Director, FMS, who expressed her sincere gratitude to the police officials and trainers for their informative session. Cyber Security Awareness Workshop Conducted at Faridabad Model School
With the increasing use of social media and the internet among children, Faridabad Model School organised a Cyber Security Awareness Workshop for the students of the Senior Wing to promote safe and responsible digital practices.
The workshop, held under the Community Policing and Outreach Programme, was conducted by Sub Inspector Basant Kumar and Head Constable Joginder from the Cyber Cell Department. The event was attended by FMS Academic Director Mrs. Shashi Bala, school coordinators, and students.
During the session, Mr. Basant Kumar educated students about the fundamentals of cyber security, highlighting the importance of strong passwords, digital footprints, cyber bullying awareness, online gaming safety, internet etiquette, two-step authentication, and privacy settings. He also explained the do's and don'ts of online behaviour and encouraged students to remain alert while using digital platforms.
The interactive session provided students with an opportunity to clarify their doubts and learn about preventive measures against cybercrime. The officials also informed them about the emergency helpline numbers 112 and 1930 for reporting cyber-related offences.
Concluding the programme, Mrs. Shashi Bala expressed her gratitude to the Cyber Cell officials for their valuable guidance.
