FMSians’ Educational Visit to Rotary Blood Bank

Students of Class VIII from Faridabad Model School, Sector- 31, embarked on an enlightening educational visit to the Rotary Blood Bank, Sector- 9 Faridabad. The visit offered students a valuable opportunity to look beyond the classroom and understand how blood banks play a crucial role in saving lives.

Rotarian Sh. Deepak Prashad – President, Rotary Blood Centre Charitable Trust, Faridabad and Dr. Anju Gupta conducted an engaging and informative session, sensitising the students about blood transfusion, different blood components and their significance in emergency healthcare. Through meaningful interactions and practical insights, the students developed a deeper understanding of the processes involved in blood donation and transfusion.

The visit not only enriched their scientific knowledge but also highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation and the life-saving impact of timely blood availability. The interactive experience left the students more aware of the importance of community service and responsible citizenship.
