    Faridabad Model School Organized Menstrual Hygiene and Health Awareness Seminar

    A seminar on Menstrual Hygiene and Health Awareness was organised at Faridabad Model School with the aim of educating students about menstrual health and promoting healthy hygiene practices.

    The seminar was conducted by a qualified health professional Ms Sanchita Saha, who explained the importance of maintaining personal hygiene during menstruation. Students were informed about the biological process of menstruation proper use and disposal of sanitary products, maintaining cleanliness, following a healthy diet and seeking medical advice when necessary.

    The speaker also addressed common myths and misconceptions related to menstruation and encouraged students to discuss menstrual health without hesitation or embarrassment. An interactive question-and-answer session was held, during which students actively participated and cleared their doubts.

    The seminar proved to be highly informative and beneficial. It helped create greater awareness among students and encouraged them to adopt safe and healthy menstrual hygiene practices. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks by Principal-Ms. Nivedita Chatterjee to the speaker, teachers, and students for their active participation.
