Faridabad Model School, Sector-31 Celebrates 28th Investiture Ceremony
Faridabad Model School, Sector-31, celebrated its 28th Investiture Ceremony on 1 August 2026, reaffirming its commitment to fostering leadership, responsibility, and the spirit of service among students.
The ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries, Mr. A.K. Malik- Managing Director , FMS Managing Committee, Former Advisor to the President of Zambia and Former Commissioner, Cabinet Secretrait, Govt of India. Rtn. H.S. Malik, Chairman FMS, Former Chairman, Child Welfare Committee, Bench of Magistrates , Govt. of Haryana. Rtn. Amarjit Singh Narang, Rtn. Neeraj Bhutani, Rtn. Gautam Malhotra, Rtn. Vidit Mittal, Mrs. Raj Malik- Former Founder Principal, FMS Sector-48, Mr. Dhruv Malik, Mrs. Shreya Malik, Mrs. Shashi Bala, Academic Director, Mr. Umang Malik, Director and Mrs. Nivedita Chatterjee, Principal.
The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp and a melodious Welcome Song. A major highlight was the Inter-House Group Dance Competition, "समृद्धि क्षितिज – The Horizons of Prosperity," where students portrayed the vision of a progressive India through themes of social harmony, cultural heritage, technological innovation, and agricultural advancement. The performances inspired the audience with a message of unity, growth, and national prosperity.
The newly elected Student Council for the session 2026–27 was formally inducted as the dignitaries conferred badges upon the members. Head Boy Master Vivaan Mehta and Head Girl Miss Lavanya Verma, along with the council, took the oath to lead with honesty, dedication, and integrity.
The school's Interactors were also felicitated by the Rotaract Club and pledged to uphold the Rotary motto, "Service Above Self." Congratulating the young leaders, the guests encouraged them to lead with confidence and sincerity while appreciating the school's efforts in nurturing leadership and holistic development.
The ceremony concluded with the National Anthem, inspiring the newly elected council members to serve as responsible leaders and role models for the school community.
